This is the no-rap, no Jay-Z version. I like hip-hop, I do.. I love it actually, and rappers too: Biggie, 2pac, Common, Kanye, and a few Jay tracks, etc. However this version sans Jay-Z is magical. Pure and whimsical without being slaughtered by awkward yelling rap. The background choral harmonies in combination with the lead lyrics are enough to make anyone want to visit NY.
